Nominations
The Pacific
Conference on Information Systems invites nominations for
the Doctoral Consortium to be held in Suzhou, China prior to
PACIS 2008. The Consortium will begin in the afternoon of
Thursday, July 3rd, and end at 6pm on Friday,
July 4th, 2008. The Consortium provides doctoral
students working on their dissertation research with an
opportunity to share and develop their research ideas,
explore issues related to academic and research careers in
the Information Systems field and build relationships with
other PhD students from the region.
A number of
prominent faculties have already been invited and accepted
invitations to the PACIS Doctoral Consortium. All these
faculties are well connected to the top journals in the
field.
This means that PhD
students will receive high quality feedback and support for
their academic work, and also have the opportunity of
networking with senior academics. This Doctoral Consortium
will be a significant event for emerging IS researchers in
our region.
